Ruislip Lido, Hertfordshire – Engagement Photography

Hinesh and Sam are a beautiful couple – their tender love for one another lit up the room the moment they walked into the studio for the first time. During their wedding consultation, I advised them that since they like going on walks together, the best place for their engagement session would be a quiet and pretty place where they like to spend time as a couple.

That is how we ended up meeting up by the Waters Edge pub near Ruislip Lido and going for a relaxed walk. I always feel that engagement photoshoots that are based on the idea of the couple enjoying the lovely scenery and casually discussing the upcoming big day or even just their plans for dinner rather than deliberately (and often, awkwardly) posing for the camera, end up being much less stressful and much more fun, especially if they are a little camera-shy.

For Sam and Hinesh camera shyness didn’t last long at all – having gotten used to the cameras very quickly, they relaxed and focused on spending time together, and soon we were getting the most adorable shots…
